The University of Pittsburgh Police Department's Honor Guard is a specialty unit that represents the department at funerals, memorial services, and other ceremonies. The Color Guard is made up of members of the Honor Guard who present the colors at building dedications, parades, sporting events, and other community or special events.
You can request the Honor Guard or Color Guard for your special event by submitting our request form. Requests should be submitted at least 14 days in advance of the event date to allow for review and approval. If you have any questions, please contact us at Police-Honorguard@pitt.edu.
