The University of Pittsburgh enforces all state and local laws regarding the possession, use, transportation, and sale of alcoholic beverages, including those prohibiting underage drinking, and local laws prohibiting an open container of alcohol in public. The University of Pittsburgh values the safety and health of all members of the Pitt community and seeks to foster an environment in which its students and employees treat other persons with respect, civility, and dignity. Process for Adjudicating Complaints of Sexual Assault & Sexual Harassment, Dating Violence, Domestic Violence & Stalking

The University of Pittsburgh has the authority to take disciplinary action for conduct occurring on or off campus when the conduct, among other things, affects the educational and work environment. University officials will provide a prompt, fair, and impartial investigation and resolution.
